Jewellery Care
At hyperféminin, we believe that it is essential to take proper care of your pieces to ensure their longevity and keep them looking their best. Here are some tips for caring for your jewellery:
- Avoid exposure to water: Although we pride ourselves on choosing durable, high quality materials for our pieces, we cannot help some metals being naturally delicate and needing a little extra care than others. For jewellery compositions such as pearls and Gold Plated jewellery, water can cause the outer layer to wear away more quickly, so it's important to remove your fine jewellery before swimming, showering, or participating in any water-related activities if you can.
- Avoid contact with lotions and chemicals: Lotions, perfumes, and other chemical-filled products can also cause the outer layer of jewellery to wear away. It's best to avoid applying these products whilst wearing jewellery. We strongly recommend to apply any lotions or perfumes and letting them fully dry BEFORE putting on your jewellery.
- Store your jewellery properly: When you're not wearing your jewellery, it's important to store it properly to prevent scratching and tarnishing. Keep your pieces in a jewellery box or pouch, away from other jewellery that could potentially scratch them.
- Keep it clean: Regularly clean your jewellery to remove any dirt, oils, or residue that may accumulate. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the jewellery, being careful not to rub too hard and remove the gold layer.
- Avoid abrasive materials: When cleaning your jewellery, avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that can damage the composition of your jewellery items. Stick to gentle cleaning methods to preserve the integrity of the jewellery.
